Sovema manufacture stainless steel pipe in our welding shop for “Supply of stainless steel pipes and hydraulic equipment to strengthen the water supply of Abidjan North-East Area in Ivory Coast for ONEP”.
Bernard TALOUR and Vincent COUCHET went purposely to Bamako in order to introduce the new pump, SOVEMA UNIVERSAL. The meeting held was chaired by National Direction for Hydraulics and
was attended by all operator and decision-makers on rural water environment along with local NGOs. The pump was found eligible to procurement contracts in Ivory Coast and is patent-pending in Mali.
Qualifications tests driven by SOVEMA’s Malian distributor, SETRA, in connection with Hydraulics Department, should lead very shortly to obtaining this official recognition.
